1. Cut the tissue paper into a strip that is 5 inches wide and make it long enough to fit around a head. Fold the paper in half and glue the ends together, forming a band. Cut the top of the crown to form the shapes.

- 1 toilet paper roll
- non toxic paint

Directions
1. First we will paint the toilet paper roll. Use any color you want because this will be the color of the chicken. Allow the roll to dry. For the crest of the chicken use red construction paper. Draw the shape and cut it out.
2. For the wings use construction paper that matches the color of the toilet roll. Draw the wings and cut them out. Use black construction paper for the eyes and yellow for the beak.
3. Apply glue to the crest and stick it on the roll. For the wings you will need to bend a section and glue it on. Finally, glue the eyes and the beak.
